Secure your event registration page

Security & Privacy5 min read

Your public event page is how guests register, but not every link should be public. A few habits keep registration pages and attendee data protected.

Share the event link intentionally

Distribute the event URL to your invited guests through your own channels. Avoid posting it somewhere public unless you want the event to be open to everyone.

Use preview links for internal review

When you share a draft event with your team before publishing, use the Preview button. Preview links are signed and expire, so they can't be reused as a public registration page.

Treat ticket links as private

Each attendee's ticket page is reachable only through a unique, hard-to-guess token. Remind guests not to share their personal ticket link or QR code publicly.

Keep the embed snippet scoped

The embed widget is safe to place on your site, but keep the snippet tied to your own pages. If you stop using a page, remove the snippet so registrations only happen where you expect.

Review your event before going live

Preview the public page in a private browser window before publishing to confirm only the fields you intended are visible and no internal notes are exposed.
