QR check-in at the door: a field guide

The door is the busiest place at any event. GatherPro's QR check-in is built for speed: a single scan validates a ticket, checks the guest in, and queues their badge.

Open the scanner

On any phone or tablet, open the Scanner page for your event. If you set a check-in password, your staff enters it once per shift.

Scan a guest

Point the camera at the QR code on the guest's ticket. The scanner instantly shows the guest's status:

  • Ready for check-in — confirmed and good to go.
  • Already checked in — duplicate scan; no double entry.
  • Registration cancelled — flag for the door team.

Handle walk-ins

No ticket? Use the walk-in flow to register the guest on the spot. They get their QR code and badge without ever visiting the registration page.

Print badges instantly

After a successful check-in, tap Print badge to send the guest's badge straight to any connected printer.
